Meet Jen Forster — Our June Sheepdog of the Month

The Sheepdog Mentality is about looking out for others and never leaving anyone behind. Each month we honour someone in our community who lives that every day — a first responder, veteran, or local hero who deserves to be recognized.

We're kicking off this feature with someone who has been living the Sheepdog Mentality long before we ever opened our doors — our very own Jen Forster.

Jen Forster - ER Nurse, Sheepdog Co-Owner, Supermom

Most people know Jen as one of the faces behind Sheepdog Brewing — but before she's ever in the taproom, she's already put in a full shift in the ER. With over 20 years at Alberta Health Services and experience at both Canmore Hospital and Rockyview hospital, Jen has spent her career showing up when it matters most.

She's also shaped future nurses as a former clinical faculty member at Mount Royal University — and somehow balances all of it with two kids under five at home.

Jen embodies everything the Sheepdog of the Month is about — quiet strength, service to others, and never leaving anyone behind. We're proud to call her one of our own.
