About the event
Born out of Canmore’s open mic circuit in 2023, REWD is what happens when four music-loving locals decide to see what happens if they actually rehearse. REWD stirs together folk, rock, pop and indie into a tight, harmony-rich sound.
The name? It’s their initials (Rose, Emily, Wendy, Dave) — and yes, it sounds like “rude,” though they promise they’re very polite.
Fun, cheeky and always authentic, REWD’s live shows charm with unexpected instrumentation and harmonies that stick with you long after the last stomp fades.
